演講主題『節能低碳空壓系統設備診斷 與規劃』,介紹空壓系統如何從低碳設計規劃 ,空壓機及乾燥機設備節能變頻 設置規劃,空壓管路系統以及設備運轉診斷 ,到使用量測工具與運用AI化能源管理系統,不論演講中討論以及會後反應皆非常熱絡,可見半導體以及科技業業界對於工廠節能議題仍相當重視。

Insights Shared on “Low-Carbon and Energy Saving of Smart Compressed Air Systems Planning & Audit” at ITRI Energy Seminar

As global industries actively pursue carbon reduction  and energy transition  , the energy consumption of HVAC and compressed air systems in the industries has become a critical focus for achieving energy efficiency and net-zero goals. These systems play a vital role in manufacturing processes, maintaining production environment temperature, humidity, and air condition and quality, which directly impact product yield and process stability.

It was an honor to be one of the invited speakers at the "Seminar on Energy-Saving Technologies for HVAC and Compressed Air Systems" on October 17, 2025. The event was hosted by the Energy Administration (EA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), and organized by the Green Energy and Environment Research Laboratories (GEL), Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). The venue was the Edison Hall, 2F, Hsinchu Science Park (HSP) Activity Center (also known as the Science Park Life Hub) in Hsinchu City, Taiwan’s semiconductor stronghold.

My presentation, titled "Diagnosis  and Planning for Energy-Efficient, Low-Carbon Compressed Air Systems," covered a comprehensive approach: from low-carbon design and planning  , to the setup of variable frequency drive (VFD) technology for energy-saving air compressors and dryers  , and system optimization through pipeline diagnostics and operational analysis  . We also discussed the use of advanced measurement tools and the application of AI-powered energy management systems.

The lively discussions during the talk and the enthusiastic response afterward clearly indicate the significant importance the semiconductor and tech industries place on energy efficiency in factory operations.
